enjoyed sun by the water outside the ‘karlberg castle‘, still a military academy.

110729 “hammer to go”

silentium Posted on 2011-07-29 23:58:19

today i posted a gift of northern archeological origin to a friend. this tune also happens to be the first one in my new notepad which therefore is commemorated in the not so popular be-bop key of F sharp.

110728 “the tick”

silentium Posted on 2011-07-28 21:34:59

nasty little bugger, crawling in the parks of stockholm.

110727 “fear not II”

with sound Posted on 2011-07-27 16:11:04

i believe what is said, that all human actions stems from either of two feelings; love or fear. the madman in norway obviously lost his ability to love at some point early on. when disaster hits us we must try not to fear. it might be pretentious but i think music can console in that it helps opening up to whatever emotional state you might find yourself in. this one tries to reflect hope and dignity in moments of despair.

silentium Posted on 2011-07-26 23:56:01

this weekend i spent some time with a friend’s friends and i managed to piss one of the hosts (an established cultural worker) off just by being me. i quite enjoyed that.

110725 “paradise lost”

silentium Posted on 2011-07-25 23:59:10

we create or own paradise, or we find ourselves in it, experiencing moments or periods of bliss. but nothing ever lasts..
the gruesome events in norway came as a chock, though madness like that
happens all over the world all the time. but i believe that what’s true for paradise also goes for ‘hell’.

110720 “cruisin fresh supplies””

with sound Posted on 2011-07-20 23:55:51

this afternoon me and my brother tomas joined john for a ride in his boat. a slick thing with a big engine, the boat that is. we anchored up and had a good swim in lake mälaren. funny thing is, today there was an article in the newspaper about the many accidents with boats in mälaren leaking out oil and petrol, and how that endangered the fresh water supplies. mälaren, being swedens third largest lake, is the source of drinking water for about two million people. and here we were, with 150 liters in the tank, happily cruising into the sunset. no accident though. and it was a highly enjoyable ride.
